Will This Guy Ever Learn?
Well he is at it again.
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- The Rev. Pat Robertson says God has told him that storms and possibly a tsunami will hit America's coastline this year.
The founder of the Christian Broadcasting Network has told viewers of "The 700 Club" that the revelations came to him during his annual personal prayer retreat in January.
"If I heard the Lord right about 2006, the coasts of America will be lashed by storms," Robertson said May 8. Read the rest of the article here.
If I heard the Lord right! Is Pat hard of hearing or just leaving himself an out? I am beginning to believe that this guy has one of two problems. One, he has a screw loose. Or two, he is much smarter than we all give him credit. All he has to do is open mouth - insert foot - and the media ( and me) jump all over it. Maybe that is a clue. I will have to think about that one.

Pat needs to quietly work within the church doing something fruitful that does not entail speaking (especially in public.)
He has horrible timing, and way too often speaks before his brain finds the right gear.
So true Larry. Poor Pat. A mind is a terrible thing to loose.
His prediction about the coasts being lashed by storms in 2006 - the NWB had has been predicting for the last couple of years that the USA was due a prolonged period (maybe 6 10 years) of increasing storm intensity.
And, about God speaking to him....he follows in the shoes of
other nationally known preachers who have special communications with a supreme being. Some years back Oral Roberts testified he was approached by a 800' tall Jesus who warned him to raise millions of dollars in a year or he would strike him dead!
Is this all "pride goes before the fall"?
